HEAVEN AND HELL – NOT JUST RELIGOUS … not being particularly religious or leaning toward any one belief system. I believe that most religions are a support network of coping mechanisms. We use coping strategies for the events in life we see as a challenge. Many people I have spoken to and listened to over the years, have very different ideas of what a challenge really is.
Some feel that a losing a loved one or house is a great challenge. We have no control over when we lose loved ones , therefore the challenge is actually the way that event makes us feel and we are in control of that. Events out of our control are the ones that teach us the most.
HEAVEN AND HELL – NOT JUST RELIGOUS the facts are that we are all looking for guidance in some form or another. We are insecure in life and therefore look for leadership. We all look for our own heaven and earth. Anyone who has come close to or experience death for a short time and returned. “we ” all report experiencing a change in our outlook that is life changing. We all report experiencing an energy we can’t describe. From that we can definitely say that two eternal forces of energy exist and they create life and the universe we live in.
so if the idea of heaven and hell is too big to comprehend and therefore you see it as religious then look at it this way. What do you see as “home”?. Do you see it as the building you live in? You live in your house, doesn’t mean you are your house. House falls down, we walk away and find another one. Similarly we choose a career but that’s not who we are. contd…..
