Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a deep stage of relaxation rather like meditation. There are two main parts to the psyche, the conscious and sub-conscious minds.

Counselling

Counselling is a ‘talking therapy’ which can be taken over a few sessions over a number of weeks. Listening without judgement to help you find your own path.

Psychotherapy

During your psychotherapy session, you will learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviours.

What Is Holistic Therapy?

Holistic therapy, or holistic psychotherapy, refers to therapy that addresses an individual as a whole person rather than as someone who is sick, just has psychological issues, or as being separated into different components. Holistic therapy addresses the individual in terms of their mind, spirit, and body.

Who Is Holistic Therapy For?

Holistic therapy is great for those that have paid numerous visits to doctors but don’t feel like their pain is getting any better. Holistic treatments work towards finding the underlying cause of your symptoms in a natural and loving way. They take care to look at all of your organs and body systems to see what may not be functioning correctly. Sometimes you need nurturing rather than more pills!

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are often confused with Stage Hypnosis. Stage hypnosis is purely for entertainment and is not therapy.

Hypnotherapy is a deep stage of relaxation rather like meditation. There are two main parts to the psyche, the conscious and sub-conscious minds. The conscious mind is where all the everyday living goes on. Getting ready in the mornings, driving a car or riding a bike. All the tasks we do day in day out. We tend to take it all for granted until we are stopped from doing them some how. The subconscious mind is the part that stores past experiences and basically affects our behaviours and reactions to various stimuli and situations. It is a smaller part of the brain/mind but is much more powerful than the conscious mind. So if we have a pattern of self destructive behaviour we want to stop, then it’s the sub conscious mind we need to target. When going into hypnosis, we are asking the conscious or sometimes called the waking mind to take a step back and have a little snooze while we talk to the boss at the back there.

Hypnotherapy can be very effective in improving the following forms of mental condition and some physical complaints…

About Me

After having struggled myself with anxiety and depression from a young age, I decided to help people understand that it’s real, the pain of mental health should be taken seriously. I decided to study mental health and become qualified in this area so I can better assist others in their path to recovery. Self help is a key part to mental health, and together I will show you the way to recovery, there is no need to be afraid of therapy as I’m here every step of your journey. Together we will take one step at a time and overcome this.

I have been a counsellor for 25 years, there is nothing I haven’t experienced or heard, with many different genders and ages coming to me I have extensive knowledge to ensure you stay on the right track to recovery. Rather than group counselling, with me you get a direct one on one session with all my heart and focus to listen to you. I am currently studying level 3 psychotherapy to enhance my background a knowledge further, to help me better assist you in all areas.

Don’t worry if you live far from me as all session can be taken either in person or over skype/WhatsApp or other means of video calls. Some clients prefer this way because they are nervous on a one to one session. I can’t express to you enough that I am here for you, so whichever way makes you more comfortable is fine with me.
